This past Tuesday Cuyler's school presented their Kindergarten Spring Concert. The theme was The Circus and Cuyler was a clown. And what a clown he was.
Hands down THE most adorable one up there and he did a fantastic job.
I was so proud and yes - my eyes were misty as I watched him. I don't know that I could have imagined this 2 yrs ago. This is a boy who was still in diapers this time last year.

And while nothing can take away the pride I feel after seeing my baby boy performing, I still see alot of work ahead of us. While he "blends in" wonderfully - none of the children on stage with him are his "friends". And it's ironic because they are all so drawn to him. His teachers tell me that the children try so hard and really make an effort to interact with him, he's just not where they are socially. He does have one little friend who he spends time with. They play at recess together quite often whether it's side by side in the sandbox or follow-the-leader, he enjoys being around her.
I do believe that Eva is teaching him how to relate to people. Like this is the reason she is here. For him. Sounds weird...I know. But she has been so great for him and as she gets older and more verbal it will only get better. I just feel so optimistic after this past month or so. He seems so much...better. So sit back and enjoy! I give you "I Am A Pizza!"

I've neglected my blog.
I was busy trying to recover from some sort of wicked stomach virus. I woke up sick last Thursday and just today felt well enough to eat a meal. For the past week I've sustained myself on saltines and gatorade.
On top of that, on Saturday night Cuyler spiked a fever which just broke yesterday and Sunday night he developed pink eye.
I *think* we're both ok now.
Nothing like a good, nasty stomach bug to get you down to your goal weight!! Now I just need to maintain it and not go ape-shit eating all the foods I haven't in the past 6 days.
And why is it that a girl cannot vomit without the whole world wondering if she's pregnant? Especially a girl whose husband had a vasectomy over a year ago...

Sean and I have become obsessed with the show The First 48 . It's a reality show that basically begins with a murder and follows detectives through the following 48hrs. And it's on all the time, so we always get our "fix". It is on right now (I swear) and there was an episode on prior to this one...I watched it as well.
The only problem is that I generally fall alseep watching it and I realized this morning after yet another crazy dream that it is probably not the best thing to watch while falling alseep.
And it's also probably while I have had this increase in my anxiety. It's a really intense show. Showing bodies, showing families being told of their loved ones death, showing confessions...
I think I really need to cut back on how much I watch and also to find something else to watch while I fall alseep.
DAMN YOU Showcase for not showing CSI at 11pm everynight like you used to. For 2 yrs I fell alseep watching CSI. Then they changed their schedule and now I have to watch David Caruso with his fucking sunglasses and one liners ...if The First 48 isn't on, of course.

Here's some cuteness

He's so handsome...

Him too. Dirty face, pink eye and all!
