I was uploading some photo's when I got a pop up saying I had a new email. It was a notification of a comment from here. From my last entry.
I got goosebumps when I read it and it prompted me to come back here.
As I posted not too long ago, I seem to be blogging less and less. I think the fact that I have a new baby, and 2 busy boys is one reason. But the bigger reason being that I don't feel like I need to. When I started this blog, we were in crisis-mode. Cuyler was newly diagnosed, Cam was just starting kindergarten. I pulled out of my night school classes due to stress.
I needed the blog to get all of my shit out. And it helped tremendously. The little network of fellow bloggers was a great bonus! Through them, I knew I wasn't alone.
I don't want "Sherry" to feel alone. The impression I got from her short message was that she may be in crisis-mode. It's a terrible place to be.
So, while we are out of crisis-mode and in a good place at the moment I wanted to check in with my fellow bloggers and offer support to a new "friend".

I also wanted to share some recent pics of my amazingly gorgeous children!

Cam the man:
Cam turned 6 3weeks ago. He continues to excel in reading and started his second year of lacrosse today. His summer 3 on 3 hockey program starts next weekend.

CuyCuy the cutie pie:
Cuyler is still getting over a bout of strep throat. Some breakthroughs: He went to the dentist and allowed the hygienist to look in his mouth and count his teeth. We took him to the dr and he let the dr look in his ears, listen to his chest and swab his throat. His langauge continues to expand and he is using it functionally and is doing tons of spontaneous sharing.

Eva the Diva:
She is now just over 3 1/2 months!!!
Well...it appears the hemangioma is breaking up. It is starting to look cloudy/milky and not so bright red. It is becoming flat and less textured. I'm not getting my hopes up yet. It could come back. These things often grow for up to a year, then lay dormant, then breakdown. For it to be breaking down at 3.5mos is crazy! But it did have an extremely active growth phase during her first 2 months. We are now going to the dermatologist monthly as opposed to every 2weeks!
Checkout her gorgeous-ness!!

Slacker...yep...that's me!
Between the warm weather, meetings out of our asses, strep throat, dr's appt's, dental appt's and special visitors from BC, I haven't blogged.
So what's new?
We registered Cuyler for kindergarten for September. We met with the principal and special education resource teacher and left feeling confident and excited about it.
Now we work on toilet training. We have an OT working with us on that but it is going to be a VERY slow process. We'll see where we are in 5 months.

Eva is still a wonderfully easy baby. On Friday she will be 12 weeks old!!!

Her hemangioma continues to grow and we continue to monitor it. They want to monitor closely so we go every 2 weeks. They aren't worried about but because it is located on her neck, they don'twant to take any chances. The referral has been put in for the MRI so we should get that done in the next few months.

Cam turns 6 next Monday. That's just crazy!!!

And our first portraits of the three of them:
